Who Are WE
Youth PartEQUALITY is an innovative Erasmus+ Youth Participation project dedicated to empowering young people to become active drivers of gender equality policy development across Europe. In a time when gender-based inequalities persist and youth voices are often underrepresented in policymaking, Youth PartEQUALITY creates unique opportunities for young people to engage, learn, and lead. Our project is designed to bridge the gap between youth and policymakers, ensuring that young people’s perspectives, ideas, and solutions are part of the conversation on how to build a more inclusive and gender-equal Europe.
What We Aim to Do
- Foster youth engagement in gender equality policy-making
We are committed to activating young people as policy influencers — equipping them with the skills, knowledge, and platforms they need to advocate for real change in gender equality policies at local, national, and EU levels. Through debates, simulations, and youth-led dialogues, young voices will be heard where decisions are made.
- Create platforms for youth dialogue with policymakers
Youth PartEQUALITY builds bridges between young citizens and policymakers, creating open spaces for structured dialogue, consultation, and co-creation of policies. By directly engaging with decision-makers, youth will contribute to shaping gender-sensitive policies and solutions that reflect the realities and needs of young people today.
- Promote gender-sensitive practices and inclusive spaces for youth
Our mission is to challenge gender stereotypes and promote equality in every space young people inhabit. From youth organizations to public forums and events, we work to create inclusive environments where diversity, respect, and gender sensitivity are prioritized. Through education, dialogue, and creative action, we foster safe spaces for learning, sharing, and collaboration.
- Empower young people to become Gender Equality Ambassadors in their communities
Youth PartEQUALITY equips young people to take the lead as Gender Equality Ambassadors, inspiring and mobilizing their peers and communities. Through training, hands-on activities, and campaigns, we provide youth with practical tools to become advocates, educators, and changemakers in advancing gender equality locally and beyond.
Our Main Goals
- Educate and empower youth on gender equality, intersectionality, and democratic participation
We offer interactive, youth-friendly educational experiences that deepen understanding of gender equality and intersectionality, while building critical skills for active citizenship and democratic engagement. Youth will learn how to address the diverse and intersecting forms of discrimination affecting young people today.
- Engage youth directly with national and EU policymakers through structured dialogues and policy debates
Through the creation of formal and informal dialogue opportunities, Youth PartEQUALITY ensures that young people are not just passive recipients of policies but active co-creators of gender-sensitive solutions. Our simulations of the European Parliament, youth policy debates, and direct consultations provide real experience in influencing policy.
- Strengthen youth-led movements and campaigns for gender equality across Europe
We believe in the power of youth-led action. Through training, mentoring, and collaborative spaces, we support young people in initiating and leading impactful campaigns that promote gender equality and challenge discrimination. Youth PartEQUALITY helps build a vibrant movement of young advocates for change.
- Raise awareness on gender equality issues through public campaigns and festivals
Public engagement is essential to challenge stereotypes and inspire action. Youth PartEQUALITY organizes creative and inclusive gender equality festivals, awareness campaigns, and public events, making gender issues visible and sparking conversations that can lead to societal change.
